While I was disappointed at first, I really want to get MGS3 now and play it through, since I like the second game so much initially. I’m hoping that MGS4 will be good but, like the new Getaway - there’s little point to me hoping as I’m never going to own a PS3.

I think they’ll be bringing out a metal gear solid collection that includes a PS2 version of 1,2 and 3. It’s out in America ATM, but I’m sure it’ll be released here before (or even when) MGS4 comes out, to give new people an idea of the back story.

If your ever going to play the whole series I would play it in this order, 3, Portable ops, Twin snakes(MGS1 Remake on the gamecube) 2 and then 4 That’s if you actually want to play them at all:P
