Rez is an interesting blend of rhythm, on rails shooting and trippy graphics. It was released by Sega of Europe in 2002 and has just received a re-release on the Xbox Live Arcade.

The father of this unique game is Tetsuya Mizuguchi, who also created Lumines and Space Channel 5.

We all know who Jeff Gerstmann is by now. If you don’t, he is responsible for creating the biggest controversy Gamespot has ever seen. He was fired right after his review for Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, which he only gave a 6/10, or as most would view it, an undesirable score.

Rumours started to circulate that Eidos Interactive, the studio behind Kane & Lynch, weren’t too fond of his review. Eidos Interactive had put big money on advertising Kane & Lynch on Gamespot’s site, therefore Gamespot wasn’t too happy with Jeff.
